You'll never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have left..

a quote i read from not the primrose path.. his last post led me to another beautiful blog onebreastbouncing..

till now i cant believe their last entry were literally their last..

as i read what they have written, i catch myself thinking if i even had an ounce of strength, patience and ketabahan as they have/had..

ya Allah.. fill our hearts with the ability to endure all the beautiful plans that You have laid for us..

indeed i know them not, but my deepest gratitude to all the reminders they have given me. indeed with Allah is the best of rewards..

Surah Al-Mukminun..1-11:

[1]
Sesungguhnya berjayalah orang-orang yang beriman,
[2]
Iaitu mereka yang khusyuk dalam sembahyangnya;
[3]
Dan mereka yang menjauhkan diri dari perbuatan dan perkataan yang sia-sia;

[4]

Dan mereka yang berusaha membersihkan hartanya (dengan menunaikan zakat harta itu);

[5]

Dan mereka yang menjaga kehormatannya, -

[6]

Kecuali kepada isterinya atau hamba sahayanya maka sesungguhnya mereka tidak tercela: -

[7]

Kemudian, sesiapa yang mengingini selain dari yang demikian, maka merekalah orang-orang yang melampaui batas;

[8]

Dan mereka yang menjaga amanah dan janjinya;

[9]

Dan mereka yang tetap memelihara sembahyangnya;

[10]

Mereka itulah orang-orang yang berhak mewarisi -

[11]

Yang akan mewarisi Syurga Firdaus; mereka kekal di dalamnya

the basic method to build self-discipline is to tackle challenges that you can successfully accomplish but which are near your limit. This doesn’t mean trying something and failing at it every day, nor does it mean staying within your comfort zone. You will gain no strength trying to lift a weight that you cannot budge, nor will you gain strength lifting weights that are too light for you. You must start with weights/challenges that are within your current ability to lift but which are near your limit.
